CYFA and NFF Join to create an awesome flag football opportunity

CYFA is excited to announce our 2nd year in partnership with National Flag Football (NFF) - Minnesota. NFF is the largest NFL FLAG affiliate program not only in Minnesota, but in the entire country!  Last year alone, over 25,000 participants played with NFF in one of their 60+ flag football league locations. This year, we are excited to bring this exceptional offering to the Centennial Youth Football Association.

This partnership was driven primarily by the great feedback CYFA has received about the Spring Flag Football seasons run by NFF along with the requests for access to better fields, extending the age from 4th/5th up to 7th/8th and the need for officiating during the games.

With this partnership, you will now have the following benefits:

  • Games and practices on same day - one hour practice followed by a one hour game
  • Games/practices will be on Sundays (10am - 6pm) for every grade level
  • Games/practices will all be at the Centennial Middle School football field(s)
  • Grade levels are from Pre-K through 8th grade
  • Two site directors that will manage game/practice days
  • Quality trained officials officiating all games
  • Access to the NFL Flag Minnesota Flag Football Championship Tournament

The season will start early September and run for 8-9 weeks depending on the need for a rain/makeup date - more details to follow after registration begins. The registration process, coaching selection and league operations will be handled by NFL Flag under this new partnership, but the CYFA will stay actively involved.  Registration for NFL Flag will begin late May/early June - CYFA will send out an email blast when registration is open along with a link on our website. Expected cost for the upcoming Flag Football season will be $130.00.

Please contact CYFA at CYFAMN@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
